Beth is from Cheltenham in Gloucestershire. She fell into ELT by accident after a previous life as a linguist and an interpreter/translator, helping to build the Airbus and the Harrier Jump Jet. Since then, she has successfully guided numerous students through the ‘Dip’ in Cheltenham, Bristol, Newcastle, and Birmingham in the UK, in Moscow, Beijing, Kiev in the Ukraine, Sydney & Perth in Australia, Saigon in Vietnam, Ekaterinburg in Siberia, and in Brunei. She works freelance, travelling the world working on different ELT courses. She has developed and set up a new, “unplugged” CELTA course and a brand new Delta Preparation course. She is a trainer, moderator and assessor for the Cambridge Delta and a trainer and assessor for CELTA and ICELT. She loves travelling, reading books on aeroplanes – fortunately – horses and all things horsey, duck eggs and cooking!
